Official rules for Levels
Levels is a free daily drawing game run by Decryptr Limited. These rules cover who can enter, how rounds work and are scored, and the Decryptr+ prizes. Times are in each region's own time zone.
1.Who runs it
Levels is run by Decryptr, the developer of this app. Questions: support@decryptr.ai.
2.Free to enter
No purchase or payment is needed to take part or to win, and paying for Decryptr+ gives no advantage in Levels. Everyone in a round gets the same coin, the same ten minutes and the same scoring.
3.Who can enter
You must be 18 or over and have a Decryptr account in good standing. Decryptr staff and the @decryptr account are not eligible for prizes, and suspended accounts cannot win. One account per person. Multiple accounts are disqualified.
4.Regions
Levels runs three rounds a day, one for each region: Europe (on UK time), the Americas (on New York time) and Asia-Pacific (on Singapore time). Your region is set from your phone's time zone: UTC-2 or further west is the Americas, UTC+5 or further east is Asia-Pacific, and everything in between is Europe. That is your home region, but you can play all three rounds each day: each one is scored, ranked and won on its own.
5.How a round works
Each region's round opens once a day at a random minute between 09:00 and 21:00 in that region's time, and stays open for ten minutes. You draw where you think the coin will go over the next twelve hours and write a short thesis on why (10 to 280 characters, no links). You get one entry per round, and it cannot be changed once locked in.
6.The coin
Players who drew that day can vote for the coin in their region's next round, from the list of coins shown in the vote. The coin with the most votes is used; a tie is settled at random, and with no votes the round is on Bitcoin.
7.What is sealed
Your line and your thesis are hidden from other players until the round locks. While a round is open, other players can see that you have entered and whether your line ends up or down, but not the line itself. Theses are checked automatically and hidden if they break the community rules.
8.How it's scored
When the twelve hours are up, each drawing is compared with the real price of the coin on Hyperliquid, at 24 points half an hour apart, and scored from 0 to 100 to one decimal place. 50 points are for the pattern: whether your line rises and dips where the price does, once each line's straight trend from start to finish is taken out. A line with almost no rises or dips earns no pattern points. 30 points are for finishing near where the price finished, and 20 for how close your line stays to the price overall. A straight line to the right price scores about 50; reading the shape of the move is what takes you higher. Scoring is automatic and the same for everyone. It is a test of skill and judgement, not chance.
9.Daily prizes
The highest score in each regional round wins one month of Decryptr+ when 10 or more people played that round, so there can be up to three daily winners, one per region. A round with fewer players still has a winner and the win still counts for monthly points, but no free month is given. If scores are tied, the drawing locked in first wins.
10.Monthly prize
The player with the most Levels points in a calendar month (UK time) wins three months of Decryptr+. Points are the sum of your round scores that month, from any region and any coin, plus 100 for each daily win. You need at least five scored rounds in the month to be eligible. If points are tied, the player with more scored rounds wins.
11.Prizes
Prizes are added to the winner's account automatically, on top of any time they already have. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged or transferred, and there is no cash alternative. Levels points, leagues, leaderboards and streaks are scoreboards only and have no monetary value.
12.Winners
Winners are notified in the app and announced by @decryptr, which shows the winner's username and score.
13.Fair play
We may disqualify entries that use automation, multiple accounts or any other unfair means, and withhold prizes won that way.
14.Changes
We may change or end Levels or its prizes. Changes won't affect a prize that has already been won.
15.Apple and Google
Apple and Google are not sponsors of Levels and are not involved in it in any way.
