CFTC proposes new rules; joint SEC-CFTC taxonomy lists BTC and ETH as commodities
According to CoinDesk, the CFTC proposed Regulations CTX and CAM under a framework for FCM intermediation, capital, and proof-of-reserves for retail leveraged crypto. A joint CFTC-SEC taxonomy also names BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, XLM, and XTZ as “digital commodities.”
