U.S. 30-year mortgage rates jump near three-year high
U.S. average 30-year fixed mortgage rates rose 19 bps to 7.49%, the highest since Nov 2023, as Treasury yields surged. Mortgage applications fell 4.2% and refinancing demand dropped.
