What verified means here
Screenshots of profit are easy to fake and easy to cherry-pick. Decryptr asks for the thing that is hard to fake: proof tied to an account, wallet or firm that you can check yourself.
- Wallet verified: the trader signed a message with the wallet, proving they control it.
- Exchange or prop account linked: balances and trades come from the account itself, read-only, so nobody can move money.
- Prop certificates checked on the firm's own website, not uploaded as a picture.
- Sealed calls: a record that cannot be edited afterwards.
How to read a trader's profile
Start with the number of scored calls, not the hit rate. A trader who is right 8 times out of 10 has said far less than one who is right 60 times out of 100. A hit rate shows once someone has 10 scored calls.
Then look at what the calls were: the coins, the direction, the size of the move and whether they sealed targets and stops. A verified tick is a reason to look closer, never a reason to follow a call.
What a verified record does not tell you
It does not predict the next call. Cryptoassets are high risk, markets change, and a good run can end. Decryptr shows records so you can ask better questions, and it never tells anyone what to buy or sell.
Questions
What makes a crypto trader verified on Decryptr?
- A tick means a check passed: a wallet proven with a signed message, an exchange or prop account linked read-only, or a certificate checked on the firm's own site. Sealed, scored calls build a separate record.
Does a tick mean a trader is good?
- No. It means the thing they claim can be checked. How good they are is shown by their scored calls, and even a strong record does not predict future results.
Can a verified trader hide losing calls?
- Not on Decryptr. Calls are sealed when posted and scored automatically, and the person who posted a call cannot delete it.
Is it safe to link an exchange account?
- Accounts are linked read-only, which lets Decryptr read balances and trades but not place orders or move money.
How do I find traders to follow?
- Open a coin page to see who is calling it, or the Calls board once you have an account. Check how many calls are scored before you trust a hit rate.
