Data and licensing

What data the Decryptr API includes, where each part comes from, how to attribute it, and what you may and may not do with it on each plan.

What v1 includes

v1 is Decryptr's own aggregates, news signals and the economic calendar, market data, public person-level data from people who allow it, and figures Decryptr derives from Hyperliquid's public data. Nothing in it is a user's private data.

DataEndpointsWhere it comes from
Trending coins/v1/trending/coinsCounts of Decryptr posts from public accounts, outside communities. Never X. A coin needs 10 posters to appear. Result posts from Levels and the official account are not counted.
Call outcomes and most-called coins/v1/calls/outcomes, /v1/calls/most-calledAggregates of calls on Decryptr, per asset, with no handles. Assets with fewer than 10 callers are left out. Returns are percentages Decryptr computed.
Caller sentiment/v1/sentiment/callers, /v1/sentiment/{asset}The share of callers who went long per asset and day. A figure on fewer than 10 callers is null.
Crowd lean/v1/analytics/crowd/{asset}The call split is null under 10 callers, and the Levels split is null under 20 players.
Coin snapshot/v1/coins/{asset}Decryptr fields only: caller split, Decryptr posts, coin community size and the latest Levels split. No market data.
Prop firm rules/v1/prop/programsRule numbers as structured fields, with the date Decryptr checked them. Never the firms' own text.
Levels rounds/v1/levels/rounds, /v1/levels/rounds/{id}Rounds after they lock. The crowd split is withheld under 20 entries. The outcome and the move are percentages; reference prices and paths are never returned.
Public calls and caller track records/v1/calls, /v1/calls/{id}, /v1/callers, /v1/callers/{handle}Public calls on Decryptr from public accounts with API visibility on. See Person-level data.
Verified traders and the leaderboard/v1/traders, /v1/traders/batch, /v1/traders/{id}, /v1/leaderboardVerified trading records, only from people who switched on Share my record through the API.
News signals/v1/signals, /v1/signals/{id}, /v1/signals/{id}/impact, /v1/sentiment/{asset}/news, /v1/stream/signalsHeadline, source name and link, times, and Decryptr's own summary, tags, sentiment, impact and coins. Never the publisher's article text or description, and never the text of an X post: an X story carries its link and Decryptr's summary only. See News signals.
Economic calendar/v1/calendar, /v1/events/{id}/callsReleases such as US CPI, FOMC, jobs, PCE and token unlocks, with forecast, previous and actual as published. Schedule and figures come from TradingView, and the attribution line comes with them.
Market data/v1/market/coins, /v1/market/coins/{asset}, /v1/market/tickers, /v1/market/candles, /v1/market/funding, /v1/market/open-interest, /v1/market/long-short, /v1/market/long-short/exchanges, /v1/market/liquidations/heatmap, /v1/market/liquidations/totals, /v1/market/trendingCoins, prices, candles, funding, open interest, long and short ratios, liquidation heatmap and totals, and trending coins that Decryptr stores. See Market data.
Profiles, posts, replies and search/v1/profiles/{handle}, /v1/posts, /v1/posts/{id}, /v1/posts/{id}/replies, /v1/coins/{asset}/posts, /v1/trending/posts, /v1/search/people, /v1/search/posts, /v1/stream/postsPublic Decryptr accounts that have not opted out of API visibility, and their public posts. Never private accounts. See Person-level data.
Communities, rooms and lists/v1/communities, /v1/communities/{slug}, /v1/communities/{slug}/posts, /v1/communities/{slug}/activity, /v1/communities/{slug}/members/history, /v1/rooms, /v1/rooms/{id}/activity, /v1/lists/{id}Public communities, rooms anyone signed in can read, and public lists. Activity figures hide groups under 5. Never members, messages or invites.
Hyperliquid-derived data/v1/liquidations/{asset}, /v1/orderflow/delta, /v1/orderflow/footprint, /v1/derivatives/{asset}/funding, /v1/whales/positions, /v1/whales/positioningDerived by Decryptr from Hyperliquid's public data. See below.

News signals

Headlines belong to their publishers. Show the source and link to it wherever you show a signal. Decryptr's summary, tags, sentiment and impact are our own. The API never returns a publisher's article text or description, and never the text or account of an X post. An impact is a percentage that Decryptr computed.

Market data

The market data endpoints return coins, prices, candles, funding, open interest, long and short ratios, liquidation heatmaps and totals, and trending coins, taken from Hyperliquid, Binance USD-M, CoinGecko and Coinalyze. They are served during a testing phase, and may be restricted or withdrawn before general availability. Every response carries its attribution and its source in meta.source. Keep both with the data wherever you show it or anything you computed from it.

Returns are computed, not prices

A hit_rate_pct, avg_return_pct or move_pct is a percentage Decryptr worked out. The API does not return the prices behind it. The Hyperliquid-derived endpoints return volumes, rates and positions, and no open, high, low or close, and no mark or entry prices. Prices appear only in the market data endpoints.

Small groups are left out

To protect privacy, aggregates hide small groups: 10 people, or 20 for Levels. No aggregate can be narrowed down to one person.

Person-level data

The calls, callers, traders, leaderboard, profiles, posts, replies, search, communities and lists endpoints return data about individual people. Decryptr's Terms of Use and Privacy Notice tell our users exactly what is shared, and these rules protect them.

Who is included.

  • Public accounts that have not opted out of API visibility. Private, suspended and banned accounts never appear, and neither does anything Decryptr's moderators hid.
  • Only people who have left API visibility on. It is on by default, and anyone can switch it off in Settings, Privacy. They drop out of the API within 24 hours.
  • Verified trading records (traders and the leaderboard) only for people who switched on Share my record through the API. It is off by default, and switching it off removes them within 24 hours.
  • Traders appear under pseudonymous ids that start with trd_, never a Decryptr account id.

What is never included. Messages, private groups, stories, anything on a private account, anything visible only to followers or members, photos and images, wallet addresses, balances, trades, journals or portfolios, email, device or payment details, the list of who someone follows or who follows them, and anything that was deleted or removed.

Deletions. /v1/tombstones lists calls, callers, traders and posts you must delete: deleted, hidden, gone private, or whose owner opted out or withdrew. If you keep any person-level data, read it at least once a day and delete what it lists within 24 hours. It is free and needs a Starter plan or above.

What you may not do with it. Sell or republish it beyond your plan, use it to train AI models, try to work out who is behind a pseudonymous id, or combine it with other data to identify someone. See the API Terms.

Hyperliquid-derived data

Liquidation levels, order flow delta and footprint, funding and open interest, whale positions and whale positioning are derived by Decryptr from Hyperliquid's public data. What that means in practice:

  • Derived figures only. There are no open, high, low or close prices, and no mark or entry prices.
  • No wallet addresses or nicknames. Wallets appear under pseudonymous ids that start with whl_.
  • Decryptr users' own wallets are excluded.
  • Liquidation levels need at least 5 accounts behind them, and positioning needs at least 3 wallets per coin.
  • Order flow candles are kept for 3 days.

Attribution is required. Every response from these endpoints carries this line in its attribution field:

Includes data derived from Hyperliquid public data.

Keep that line with the data wherever you show it or anything you computed from it. This is in addition to "Data by Decryptr" below.

What the API never returns

  • Anyone's private data: emails, direct messages, chats, portfolios, linked or tracked wallets, positions or balances of Decryptr users.
  • Anything from a private account.
  • Text written by publishers (headlines and links only), or posts from X or other social networks.
  • Prices outside the market data endpoints.
  • Any field that tells you to buy or sell: no entries, targets or stops.

Information only

The API provides information, not advice. Crowd and model figures are labelled as such, track records are historical, and past performance is not a guide to future performance. Decryptr is not acting as your financial adviser, and if you show the data to your own users, you are responsible for how you present it, including any financial promotion rules that apply to you. Do not present Decryptr data as a personal recommendation.

Attribution

Wherever you display Decryptr data, or anything you computed from it, show "Data by Decryptr" with a link to https://www.decryptr.ai. This is required on every plan unless we have waived it in writing.

What each plan lets you do

PlanUse
DeveloperNon-commercial use: personal projects, research, trying the API.
StarterCommercial use in your own internal tools and low-volume products.
ProDisplay data and values derived from it in your product.
BusinessDisplay in a customer-facing product at scale.
EnterpriseRedistribution and white-label use, under contract.

On every plan except Enterprise you may not:

  • Resell, sublicense or redistribute the data, or offer an API, feed, export or mirror of it.
  • Share keys, or open several accounts to get around limits.
  • Collect data in bulk to build a competing dataset.
  • Try to identify any person or wallet behind aggregated or pseudonymous data.
  • Use person-level data to train any AI model, or any of the data to train a model offered as a competing product.

Cached data

You may cache responses to serve your own product within your plan. If we withdraw a dataset or an item, delete your copy when we ask. For person-level data, apply /v1/tombstones within 24 hours.
