A public profile
Person-level data (on since 23 Oct 2026): only public accounts that have not opted out (API visibility), never private, banned or suspended accounts, and only content created on or after Decryptr's content date. Authors carry a pseudonymous id (trd_). When content is deleted, hidden or its author leaves, /v1/tombstones lists it: delete your copy within 24 hours. One public profile: handle, name, bio, badge, verification, joined date and counts. The X handle only when the person shows it.
Cost: 1 call, also when not found.

What you must delete, oldest first: posts and replies (kind post), calls, callers, traders, and people who left the API (kind profile: delete everything you hold by that author id). Reasons: deleted, moderated, opted_out (also used when an account goes private or is removed, so the reason is never disclosed), record_withdrawn, account_deleted. Poll at least daily and delete within 24 hours. Cost: free (0 calls). Needs scope `any` and the starter plan or above.
Search people GET

Authors carry a pseudonymous id (trd_). When content is deleted, hidden or its author leaves, /v1/tombstones lists it: delete your copy within 24 hours. Search people by handle and name: an exact handle first, then handles that start with the query, then names that contain it. Cost: 5 calls per request plus 1 call per result. The request first reserves 5 + limit x 1 calls (and is refused with 429 if that many are not available), then pays for what came back; no results costs 5. Needs scope `social:read` and the pro plan or above.
